Electrical inspection passed

The electrical inspector returned tonight.  We passed!

The inside of a transformer.  They pulled the underground wire and installed the transformer this this morning.

Wiring the meter base

We had a fun night wiring up the meter base today.  Fingers crossed, the power company is supposed to come out in the transformer tomorrow.

Reviving the chicken coop

With Covid-19 ensuring that we can't do any traveling this summer, we decided to get some new hens.  The chicken coop has been used for the last few years as a garden shed, storing yard tools.  With the garage being converted to a school room, there is no room to put it back into the garage.  Logan and I spent Sunday building this wire wall to keep the chickens on one side of the shed and leave the shelves on the other.

Welcome Luke Daniel Corray

Weighing in at 9lb 4.2 oz.

With a foot so big it didn't fit in the square.....

Yellow Belt Testing

Tae-Kwon-Do yellow belt testing day!

2015 Strawberry Picking

It's time to head out to Calhoun produce and pick strawberries for the year!  Every year we head out for a fun day of picking strawberries, hay rides, and play.

Hay Ride!

James was fat with berries by the time we left

Look what I got!

While we go every year, we happened to go on the Easter egg hunt day this year!

2015 Garden Plan

We've been using a garden planner from growveg for a few years but they still don't have an app for android.  So I'm posting this link here so I can get to the plan from my phone when I'm trying to remember where stuff goes while I'm planting.

2015 Awana grand prix

For the 2015 Awana grand prix Logan wanted a turtle and paige wanted the caterpillar from the Hungry Caterpillar book.

Paige won 1st for design and 3rd for speed.  That was a fast caterpillar.  Logan won a 2nd for design.

Log Splitter

Log splitters are not my friend.

James' 2nd Haircut

James has been looking a little hippie-ish lately with his long hair.  We have been putting off getting it cut after the meltdown he had last time.  The barber wouldn't cut any more last time because he was having such a fit.  As you can tell from the pictures below he still didn't like getting it cut, but at least the barber could finish this time.

Archery day 1

Danielle surprised me with a blue Genesis bow.  It's backyard archery day!

At least she will have the skill to kill squirrels if we're starving.  If she will is another question.

New Bows

The kids and Danielle got bows for Christmas.

Grandma couldn't resist taking a turn.

Danielle and her pink Genesis Bow.

5 years

Hard to believe that we have been here in Georgia for over 5 years.

Yo Ho Ho Merry Christmas

We spent the past few nights working in the driveway on a float for the Christmas Parade.  The parents from Logan's Cub Scout pack turned a trainer into pirate ship.  It was a Yo-Ho-Ho Merry Christmas.  We went with the pirate ship because it was the theme for the local council for the year.  It's a money saver to re-use decorations.

Paige's 5th Birthday

Happy Birthday to Paige!!!!

YAY Pancakes!

OOHHHH an Elsa doll!

And an Elsa dress.

Hard ground

DAD!!!! The ground hit my face!

Making bread with grandpa

Grandpa took the opportunity to teach the kids how to make bread while he was here.  The kids had a great time.  Unfortunately, most of the pictures are a bit fuzzy.

Oh, look..... The pot we used to fry the turkey yesterday.  I bet I'll fit inside.

Yep, I fit.  Mom is really glad that the pot had been washed already.
